 Championship golf courses...
There are three golf courses quite close to Mandria: Tsada Golf Club, Secret Valley Golf Club and Aphrodite Hills Golf Club.
The Tsada Golf Club was the first grass course to be built in Cyprus in 1994 and is just 20 minutes from Paphos 550 metres above sea level. This height provides a cool breeze during the hot weather. The 18 hole course was designed by Donald Steel and is consists of two loops of nine, par 71 measuring 5,794 metres, suitable for players of all abilities.
The Secret Valley Golf Club was designed by Iacovos Iacovou and completed in 1996. It is around 18 km from Paphos. A par 71 measuring 5,989 metres. There are practice facilities with putting greens, chipping areas, bunkers and driving range. Tuition can be had on individual or group basis.
Aphrodite Hills Resort (a short drive from Pathos) boasts outstanding leisure facilities, including a magnificent 18-hole golf course designed by Cabell B. Robinson. One of the very best courses the Mediterranean can offer. With some holes crossing it's central ravine it can be a challenging course to play.

you can be skiing one minute and lying on the beach sunning yourself an hour later. Between January and March you can ski in the Troodos mountains which are about an hours drive from our Paphos apartment.
